Dr Nyawira Mwangi |Educator at Kenya Medical Training College | Educator on Diabetic Eye Disease course on FutureLearn (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine | Public eye health specialist | Passionate for strengthening heath systems for Diabetic Retinopathy | Researcher at the International Centre for Eye Health

My research focuses on the factors associated with weak and strong health systems for diabetes and diabetic retinopathy, as well as the ways in which demand-side and supply-side interventions can increase access to DR services. I am particularly interested in health system strengthening, such as development and implementation of clinical guidelines for DR. https://www.lshtm.ac.uk/aboutus/people/mwangi.nyawira https://www.linkedin.com/today/author/drnyawiramwangi
